This little camera can take pictures of those hard to reach places inside your body

Human body is the most complex machine that was created by God and there are things still hidden from the eyes of the humans. There are still things that humans do not understand as they cannot see them. Peeking inside the body of human beings becomes important for medical practitioners because sometimes it is a question of life and death. But looking inside the body isn’t that easy. There are places where the endoscopic camera cannot reach. So in order to enhance the ability to peek inside the body, scientists at the University of Stuttgart in Germany have created a camera which is so small that it can be injected into your body through a syringe.
The scientists used “femtosecond direct laser writing system” to 3 D print a three-part lens which was amazingly as small as a grain of salt. They printed this onto the end of a fibre optic cable which was as wide as the width of two human hairs. The researchers say that the camera is amazing as it can be injected into previously unreachable areas like inside of an organ (that includes the brain!) and can surely pave the way foe next generation endoscopes. Once the tiny camera enters into the body, it can take high quality images of tissue just 3 millimetres from the lens. The researchers not only succeeded in building this tiny, high quality lens but they also found success in testing the camera in just a few hours. According to the researchers the camera may find itself in other uses as well like for incognito security systems or vision for micro-bots. Bravo!!
